The MLS is back, as we mentioned before the 28th season starts today through the new media partner Apple. Fans all around the league had huge expectations about the new product launching on Apple TV that would make the fans fall in love and subscribe to the service, we all know is a huge bet for the league, this is a new system and after a year or maybe two the results will say if the numbers were successful or the league would need to find a better solution to distribute their product/content.
We had the chance to see for the first time this week, through a post made by the MLS that the Apple Studio it’s a minimalistic but functional studio that will work as the main studio for Apple TV+’s production of MLS.
Surprise to many, but this studio will be a key element for the success of the broadcasting, a high-quality TV studio, and good talent, can significantly impact the viewership of the MLS games by providing an immersive and engaging viewing experience. Soccer fans are very passionate and invested in their favorite teams, players, and events. They want to feel like they are a part of the action, let’s not forget that most of the fans watch from home, not at the stadium. A well-designed TV studio can make viewers feel like they are part of the game, and the analysis and increase the excitement and emotion of the moment.
As with any other Apple product the studio will be used for the first time this Saturday 25th with an aesthetically pleasing and modern look, this will be the element that will give the credibility and professionalism of the new Apple bet to distribute live sports events. When the MLS fans will see this sleek and polished studio, they are more likely to perceive the show as trustworthy and credible and will increase their willingness to pay for the subscription and come back every day to watch the content, because they perceive it as high-quality and reliable.
