Emilio Fernández has participated in soccer for over 25 years, having a genuine connection with soccer, joining Atlante FC youth academy at the age of 5, then moving to Pumas UNAM youth team from 7-15. He has a strong passion for soccer and its unique cultural emotional connections. Evolving from participation on the field to a business professional, working in the sport with organizations like PUMA, Reebok, Under Armour & the MLS, managing marketing strategies and building partnerships with leagues, clubs, players and stakeholders around soccer for over 7 years. He has experienced 2 World Cups and hundreds of soccer games in countries, from America and Europe. Emilio is currently based in Eugene, OR, finishing his MBA in Sports Business at the University of Oregon.
